A digital and print news platform that provides diverse coverage of events in Algeria and the world, especially in the Maghreb and Sahel regions of Africa.

Elikhbaria newspaper was born on July 5, 2013, by a young and ambitious media team
led by journalist Kamel Douha, who currently holds the position of General Director of the complex.
Elikhbaria chose this glorious day (Algeria’s Independence and Youth Day) to reflect its national orientations and its desire to provide a balanced media service with complete objectivity and credibility.

Elikhbaria wrote a distinctive slogan to explain its editorial approach to dealing
with events… which is “the truth as it is,” putting the interest of the nation
and the citizen above all other considerations.

In order to keep up with the developments in national and international newspapers, it launched its website
“elikhbaria.dz”… shortly after the first issue of the print edition was published.
Elikhbaria, out of its keenness to continuously develop its media services, launched at the end of 2021.

A modern and advanced version of the website, which includes a new national and international digital platform, in conjunction with the anniversary, of the historic marches of December 11, 1960.

The new version of Elikhbaria website witnessed important changes at the level of form and content, and was characterized by the launch of the Elikhbaria+ platform, which deals primarily with digital content (multimedia).

It is concerned with its coverage of national, regional and international events, especially with the Maghreb and Sahel regions of Africa.

The digital news platform specializes in following events in the Maghreb and Sahel regions, the most important of which are developments in Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger, in addition to the current situation.
In the occupied Western Sahara, monitoring and documenting the aggressive policy of the Makhzen regime towards Algeria.

In continuation of the sustainable development approach
followed by the complex, Elikhbaria launched on January 1, 2024, a “digital television channel” aimed at the Maghreb and African Sahel regions.

The editorial line of the channel supports the prominent diplomatic role played by Algeria.
Especially in light of the accelerated events in the region, the increasing hostility of the Makhzeni regime towards Algeria and its work to distort the most prominent just issues in the world, especially the “Western Sahara” and “Palestine” issues.

The digital channel will be a voice for the peoples of the region and a platform to discuss the most prominent files and issues.
It deals with Maghreb and Sahel African affairs and follow the major changes in relations between the countries of the Maghreb.

The channel will focus on exposing the plans against Algeria through analysis and dialogue programs, and one of the channel’s priorities will be to protect national public opinion from misleading media content.
