For Collective Action Between Algeria, Tunisia And Libya

  • There is emphasis on the extreme importance of organizing the meeting to maintain its regularity, alternating between the three brotherly countries

Meeting in Tunis, the Algerian, Tunisian and Libyan presidents agreed to take collective action and reflect beyond the bilateral framework linking each country to the other, while advancing privileged bilateral relations.

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, left Tunis on Monday evening after taking part in the work of the 1st Consultative Meeting bringing together the leaders of Algeria, Tunisia and Libya, APS reported.

The President of the Republic was seen off on his departure from Carthage international airport by the Tunisian President, Kaïs Saïed.

The Consultative summit Meeting resulted in a final communiqué, in which the leaders of Algeria, Tunisia and Libya stressed the need to unify positions and intensify consultation and coordination in order to consolidate the fundamental elements of security, stability and development in the region, and strengthen its resilience in the face of emerging regional variables and successive international crises.

The leaders of the three brotherly countries, Presidents Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Kaïs Saïed and Mohamed Younes El-Menfi, meeting at the Palace of Carthage, agreed to “organize this meeting periodically, alternating between the three countries, in order to advance the privileged bilateral relations linking each country to the other towards a new qualitative phase going beyond the bilateral framework for reflection and collective action”.
