Algeria called for the preparation of an action strategy to confront the barbaric Zionist aggression against Gaza, by adopting a pressing international position to prevent the occupier from continuing its horrendous crimes, and urging countries and organizations to submit complaints about these crimes before the International Criminal Court.

The head of the Algeria-Palestine Friendship Parliamentary Group, Mr. Hamza Hamlaoui, explained during his participation in the fifth conference of the “Parliamentarians for Jerusalem” Association, held in Istanbul, on Saturday, that the massacres committed by the Zionist enemy in the Gaza Strip and the mass killing, unjust siege, desecration of sanctities, burning and sabotage of property are being practiced. It amounts to crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing.

The head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group criticized the silence of the world, including the Security Council and the United Nations, in the face of the crimes of this usurping entity, which drives it to continue its aggression against a defenseless people under the protection of major powers.

Mr. Hamlaoui recalled a quote by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, “The will to live cannot be crushed by bombing scandals, the ugliness of destruction, forced displacement plans, and ethnic cleansing scenarios in which the Zionist occupation persists against our brothers in occupied Palestine,” stressing that this brutality will only increase the Palestinian people’s determination to wrench their legitimate rights.”

The MP further reaffirmed Algeria’s steadfast position in support of the Palestinian cause, calling for the preparation of an action strategy to confront this aggression by adopting a pressing international position to prevent the occupier from continuing its crimes and urging countries and organizations to submit complaints about these crimes before the International Criminal Court.

The same speaker also called on parliamentarians to work and make efforts to help the Palestinians and strive to expose the occupation’s practices and criminalize cooperation with it, in addition to mobilizing support in international forums to confront its vile plans to liquidate the issue.
