The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Chamber, Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani, affirmed his country’s readiness to deepen cooperation prospects, discuss partnership opportunities and expand Qatari investments, adding that Algeria is a strategic partner of Qatar.

The Minister of Trade and Export Promotion, Tayeb Zitouni, spoke at the Ministry’s headquarters with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Chamber, Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani, in the presence of the Qatari Ambassador to Algeria, Abdulaziz bin Ali Ahmed Nehme, about the strong relations between the two brotherly countries.

The two parties discussed ways to enhance economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, and strengthen bilateral relations in various trade fields.

Opportunities for joint cooperation in the export and investment sectors were also reviewed, and the importance of strengthening trade ties between the two brotherly countries and exchanging expertise and experiences in the fields of economy and trade was highlighted.

During the meeting, Minister Zitouni noted the depth of the distinguished bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, and the Qatari investments embodied on the ground in Algeria in many fields, in addition to the importance of expanding them.

For his part, the Chairman of the Qatar Chamber Council expressed his country’s readiness to deepen cooperation horizons, discuss partnership opportunities, and expand Qatari investments, adding that Algeria is a strategic partner of Qatar.

Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani expressed earlier his great satisfaction with the Algerian-Qatari relations, which were embodied in many profitable projects for the two brotherly countries, calling for the opening of new areas of cooperation to establish partnerships that serve the economies of the two brotherly countries.
