Businessmen from Iran and Algeria, according to what was reported by the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, on the sidelines of the Iran Expo 2024, stressed the necessity of establishing a chamber of commerce between the two countries.

Director of the Arab-African Department at the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Shahram Khasipour, explained the enormous potential for cooperation and joint investments between Iran and Algeria in various sectors.

The same speaker identified areas of cooperation between the two countries, such as tourism, engineering technical services, food industries, and gas product manufacturing as promising areas for cooperation, noting the importance of simplifying visa requirements to facilitate business travel between the two countries, stressing the need to strengthen bilateral economic relations.

On the other hand, the head of the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kamal Haymani, confirmed that there is a strong desire among Algerian businessmen to strengthen relations with their Iranian counterparts.

Hamini praised Iran’s efforts to facilitate visa services for Algerian businessmen, and revealed the ongoing discussions with the Algerian embassy in Tehran to simplify visa issuance procedures.
